When is the RSVP deadline?
We haven't started collecting RSVPs yet, but when prompted, please fill it out by Sunday, November 21, 2026.
Can I bring a plus-one?
All invited guests will be listed on their respective invitations.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Currently, our welcome party on Friday and our ceremony on Saturday will be outdoors. Our reception on Saturday will be indoors.
Johns Island in February can be charmingly sunny, or have the same weather patterns as the Northeast that we're all used to. We will keep guests updated as much as possible about any inclement weather and what to dress for. If any inclement weather arises, we will be indoors for all events.
What's the dress code?
Each event on the schedule lists its attire. In short: colorful Indian or cocktail attire on Friday, traditional Indian for the ceremony, and Western or Indian formal for the cocktail hour and reception.
Where can I order formal South Asian wear?
Online: Pernia's Pop-Up Shop (interestingly, just IPOed), Kalki, Kynah, and Aza Fashions.
In person in NY/NJ: Pernia's Pop-Up Studio, Manyavar, renting or buying from Aakya, or Indian clothing stores such as Sajda in Edison/Iselin, NJ.
Buying or renting South Asian clothes is very fun, but sometimes needs a second (or third!) pair of eyes. Please contact us if you have any questions; we'd be more than happy to help. We also support you if you would like to wear Western garb!
Where can I park?
There is parking both at the resort and at the event spaces (a five-minute drive from the resort).
Are the ceremony and reception spaces wheelchair accessible?
Yes! We'll also have a cart available for anyone who needs help getting around the property.
